Haven’t had a chance because I’m spending time with my mom at the skilled facility and doing errands to keep everything going. I miss you all! Talk soon!
Mom’s out of the hospital and in a rehab center for a few days to get some more strength back before she comes home. Glad she’s doing better, but chemo is starting in about two weeks, so the road is continuing to be bumpy.
I’m so behind on my writing and Tumblr. I miss you all so much!
So many things are going on in my life, but things with mom are looking up. Maybe she can come home tomorrow. She’s still very weak, but she’s getting better. Thank God!
Thanks for all the support, understanding, thoughts and prayers. It really means a lot! <3
My dad has been rewatching my ‘Eureka’ DVDs. It’s one of my favorite shows and I’m so sad it ended last year. I started watching the show when the pilot first aired and I’ve been in love ever since. Now catching bits and pieces when dad’s watching it makes me miss the show even more and I even have a sort-of idea for a fic for my favorite characters/pairing Zane/Jo. Definitely love hottie Niall Matter who plays Zane, so you’ll be seeing him on my blog a little more (and Zane/Jo stuff, too!). Niall was also in ‘Primeval: New World’ and I really loved his character and loved seeing him on TV again.

Praying for you. Stay strong.
Thanks!
Praying for a good outcome. She was doing well yesterday; got off the ventilator and then today things went downhill and she’s back on the ventilator and they’re doing a ton of tests. So so scared!!!
Had pain in her abdomen, low blood pressure, fever and dehydration. She’s gotten 2 units of blood and is gonna have surgery later tonight or early tomorrow to find out what is causing pain. It’s probably her pelvic mass so not sure where this road is heading. :(
I’m scared and am trying to hold it together. My dad is at home and his sister is here for a while and she’s with him while I’m at hospital with mom.
I’m having writing withdrawals and feel horrible that I haven’t updated anything for weeks, but I’ve got so much going on.
Mom sees the local oncologist. Scared and nervous. Trying to stay positive.
Have had a lot going on. Will try to update more soon.
While I’m on here only briefly, I do see the news about Cory Monteith. I may not be a fan of a certain ship or his character on Glee, but I respect him as a person and I wish him all the best. I think he’s already taken a huge step in recovery by seeking help for his problem. I hope everything works out for him.
I try to tag things with a ‘what, who, and when’ tags, but I have SO many things in my drafts I’d love to share, but I don’t have a ton of free time to tag each post as I add it to the queue. If I start adding things to my queue, and tag with names or something, but don’t tag everything, will that be alright?
Dad’s been in a facility for a week. He’s doing well. Ready to get out of there and wants a cigarette, but he’s doing well with his PT and OT. He and mom are meeting with someone from the area who makes prosthetics to get started on finding out what and how the process will work.
Mom’s cancer has returned and she called yesterday to make an appointment with a local oncologist that her doctor in Seattle recommended. Unfortunately they can’t get her in until the 16th of April, so she’s gonna try another office around here, or talk to her boss, because she has connections at this office, so she might be able to pull some strings, but I’m not sure.
My aunt has been here a week. Not sure how long she’s staying, but now that it’s gonna be weeks before mom is gonna be able to get into her new doctor, it honestly doesn’t seem necessary for her to be here, until later on when dad is closer to coming home and mom is starting her treatments…
Not sure what’s gonna happen, but I’ll keep you posted. You can tweet me on Twitter at EJ8302. I’m EJ8302 on Kik Messenger, a free texting program without phone numbers on most smart phones now. If you’d like to exchange emails or other contact information, let me know.
